Air Hogs Helicopter

An Air Hogs Helicopter is the ultimate in remote control toy helicopters designed and made by the Spin Master Company in Toronto, Canada.

Air Hogs HelicopterAn Air Hogs Helicopter is the ideal gift for the aspiring junior pilot (or his Dad), they’re radio controlled, free-flying, easily mastered and durable.

Let’s have a look at the Air Hogs Havoc helicopter.

This miniature marvel’s 4-way control allows for astonishing accuracy and fluidity.

You’ll get the hang of this chopper in minutes; fly it all around the house!

You’ll be amazed at the performance, and if you do happen to crash, the tough moulded body should see you through.  It’s even got a flashing LED light so it can traverse the most challenging of indoor obstacles.

The ‘on board’ battery charges from the remote control unit. The Air Hogs Helicopter will soar up to 100 feet high (if you’ve got an indoor space big enough).

The blue LED light makes for dramatic night flying.  The resilient, high-impact EPP foam body and the rechargeable LIPO battery allow you 6 minutes flight time from per charge.  This model requires 6 AA batteries, which live in the remote control unit, so the ‘copter itself isn’t weighed down.

Air Hogs are famous for their flying Air Hogs Helicopter toys, and your child (and you!) will find them endlessly fascinating.  Your little pilot will enjoy showing off his or her mastery of the various cool tricks he or she can master with the Air Hogs Helicopter, and they’re suitable for children as young as five.

Air Hogs Helicopter Battling Havoc

Next up is the Spinmaster Air Hogs Battling Havoc helicopter.  Don’t be put off by the name!  This little soldier is equipped with a Havoc Heli Laser Battling Set! Simply swoop your Air Hogs Helicopter into position, fire using the remote and KaBOOM! To makes things really exciting, go for the Havoc Heli Battling set, which comes with 2 aircraft, 2 remotes, and great sound effects, so two players can fly into battle with an Air Hogs Helicopter at once and set their sights on each other – literally! – with the real infrared targeting.

You’ll need 2 long life rechargeable LIPO batteries and 6 “AA” batteries for the remote control units for the Air Hogs Helicopter.  This Air Hogs Helicopter comes with extra tail propellers and the remotes have 2 fire buttons and a speaker.  A lightweight lithium polymer flight battery in the helicopter enables longer flight times. The Havoc is suitable from age 8+.

You can operate an Air Hogs Helicopter from your sofa.  This Air Hogs Helicopter will take any amount of punishment whilst you perfect your skills using the dual toggle and single throttle wireless remote.  The twin drive props to the rear and the dual rotors on top provide remarkable stability and precision six-way directional control to go any which way, even backwards!

Imagine how thrilling it would be to engage in real live aerial engagements with several Havoc Helicopters!  You could recreate famous airborne battles!

The transmitter doubles as the charger by connecting the supplied wire from the transmitter to the Air Hogs Helicopter. You’re generally good to go in 15 minutes. Shoot an infrared beam at your opponent!  For extra authenticity the stricken Air Hogs Helicopter will actually spin out of control for a second or two after getting hit, but a good pilot flying high should be able to recover. This is serious fun.

Air Hogs Helicopter Helix

The Helix Air Hogs Helicopter is a toy-level, electric indoor micro RC helicopter aimed at ages 12+. The transmitter’s simple 2-stick control is easy to operate. Forward to go forward and back to go back!  Left and right is pretty self-explanatory too. The left stick of the controller operates the throttle. Push forward to increase throttle.  It’s child’s play!

The ‘copter’s body enables sustained flight and exceptional manoeuvrability. It not only looks cool with its twin rotors and search light; it’s also a great ‘starter’ ‘copter. With some initial adult help your kid should soon overtake you and be able to skilfully manipulate the Air Hogs Helicopter in flight.

The onboard searchlight is really bright.  Built-in charging station on transmitter.  Upgrade to the Havoc once you’ve got the hang of this baby.

Air Hogs Helicopter Twin Thunder

The wonderfully name Twin Thunder micro tandem RC helicopter is probably the easiest to fly. It’s 3-channel transmitter and doubles as the charging unit, as per the Havoc.  It’s super stable properties allow for maximum fun without too much practice.

Go forward, left, right, and even hover! Hold it super steady with the trim controls on the transmitter, which are thumb wheel type trim adjusters instead of left right in flight push commands.

While more advanced RC helicopter pilots might find this one a bit limited, new pilots and kids will enjoy being able to get up and away as soon as they unwrap it, with minimum crashes! This is also a good starter copter for younger children.

In Summary

While the Reflex costs more the batteries in the controller are only used to control the helicopter, with the Havoc they are used to charge the helicopter as well as control it.

The Havoc helicopter is a great beginning helicopter that is durable and inexpensive.

The Reflex is a more advanced helicopter and gives you more control and longer battery life. Air Hogs offer a wide range of RC helicopters.  The best tip would be to shop around and browse around the Internet before make a purchase online as you can get some great deals from online shops when buying your Air Hogs Helicopter.
